Hi, just joined the forum (1st Caddy) and wondered if anyone has started blinging up the Edition 30.
I'm thinking I need (after sound proofing!!!) at least the following;
Firstly; a 2" minimum drop - is this an issue (can't get access to the suspension section yet!)
Second; limo tint on the rear window
Third; some kind of chrome / ss lower grill and fog light surrounds
Not sure about graphics on the bonnet and down the sills yet. The van is still a bit new to know what I want.
Has anynoe set about one yet - with pics?
Cheers

So far I've lowered mine, put 19" BBS on it (temporary til my 1552's arrive), fitted MK6 GTI leather, oem touchscreen headunit, next week I'm ply lining and carpeting it and should have R32 calipers back from being powder coated.

If you ve done all this why did you choose an ed 30 ? Surely you might as well used a normal 140 caddy as you ve taken all the ed30 away from it ?gerry wrote:So far I've lowered mine, put 19" BBS on it (temporary til my 1552's arrive), fitted MK6 GTI leather, oem touchscreen headunit, next week I'm ply lining and carpeting it and should have R32 calipers back from being powder coated.

Must admit I thought the same - just didn't say anything.
It's the paint scheme combined with the limited edition alloys of the Ed30 that first caught my attention, then the seats that make the interior look good and unique.
I would have thought buying a Highline for similar money or buying a basic van and then spending the extra money customising it to your own taste would have been more cost effective? Then again I'm on a budget, so cost is always an issue.
Dropping the van, upgrading the head unit, brakes etc etc are a good idea though, can't knock anyone for that!
