awesome mate, thanks for the link. so have you missed out the edge of the floor/roof because it does not vibrate as much there?

will the loft insulation make the van very hot when its hot outside? i want to reduce noise as much as possible but im in Australia and it does get very hot here and im gonna have dogs in the back.

also silly question but how do you remove the rivets that hold the panels on? do they just pop out? scared to break them.

Yes there's no point putting sound deadening where the panels don't vibrate.

The insulation will stop heat getting in, in the summer and keep it from escaping, in the winter

great thanks, did you put the plywood under the plastic behind the rear doors or did you just build up to it?

nice build, does the dynamat & insulation make a noticable difference? i'm looking for a caddy for the same reason as you've started your build. do you have a link to your headunit also? What't the reason for the leisure battery?, i presume to run extra lights outwith etc, and does this charge during driving?

thanks

The dynamat and insulation make a big difference to road noise and keeping the heat in, the head unit is http://www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/sph-da120 and the leisure battery is to run an electric heater and at a later date lights in the back of the van and yes the battery is charged when the engine is running

put kingapan in, that stuff is awsome.

technically it wont make it warmer but it will take it longer toto heat up and cooldown naturally inside (using aircon/heater will be more effective)
