Hi,

Have done some mountain bike related builds in the past and yours is looking on track. Are you gonna put in something for sleep too?

Regards

Nice build. I like it. 8)
Are you running on standard wheels and suspension, and do you have any plans to change it?

Very nice build, thanks for sharing pics and information.
Sorry these are total newbie questions:
how is your ply floor fixed in place?
if some kind of screws go into the metal floor, how to be sure drill/screws don't hit something important underneath?

Yeah standard wheels and suspension for now, l will lower it and add alloys when I'm finished with the inside

My camper bed was a little on the heavy side

So I drilled 250 holes in to the frame to lose 4K
Image

I then taped up all the holes Image

Then filled the frame with expanding foam to stop moisture getting to the inside of the frame and rusting

Looking good

Going to try carpeting mine on the weekend, did you do the sides in one peace i.e. any joins?

That build looks amazing. I am planning to do something similar over the next few months.

How have you found the Pioneer head unit? I'm concerned it might be a bit fiddly to use without volume knobs.

I could also do with understanding how the ply floor is fixed down, I am assuming self tapping screws...

I've got a crazy idea of making a metal bed frame that folds up and fixes to the side of the van but I'm not sure yet quite how it will look...
