Front end conversion help

Post by Arsenalgun » Thu May 19, 2016 5:55 pm

Hi I would like to know the parts you need to convert a front end 2004-11 to a 2012- I already know the obvious like head lights bonnet, wings , and bumper I'm also aware the the chassis extensions are needed but is the whole front panel different too? And is there any other parts I'm not aware of??

There's a comprehensive guide with full list of parts, part numbers and prices.
Once you have earned access to the how-to section I'm sure you will find it very useful.

You'll need front panel as it is complete different, head lights, inner wing supports, upper head light plates, front wings, bonnet, bumper and grills, bonnet latch, release cables (both parts) bonnet catch, arch liners.
People do replace the front inner wing extensions I trimmed mine to fit takes a bit of working out but saves a bit of money also fabricated wing supports for the front of the upper wing as it meets the inner wing

You'll also need the inner wing supports, the bumper guides that bolt to the wings, latch and catch, front panel side of the bonnet release cable, the 2 support brackets that go behind the head lights for the head lights, the brackets above the head lights, captive nut tool and captive nuts, if you look in my pictures you'll see the L bracket I made for the wing to bolt to.

@Vagnum, I was just wondering how your front end looks/sits having opted to not replace the inner wing ends?

Did that mean there were parts that u didn’t need to change?

I’m looking to do mine soon and looking for any help u can offer...

Thanks
