Love the look, I think when I'm ready that bumper is on the list as a must have. Did you lower the rear too or is that standard? This is the ride/lowered look I'm going for but I will be on 18" dare dcc when they get delivered

Can well recommend Simon at Procad to do the work! Yes lowered with Eibach shackle kit 60mm rear also mate and its really comfy to be honest on 20"!! I've got another Caddy with Simon in pure grey which will have staggered 20x10j rears and 20x8.5j fronts and lowered about 80mm on KW coilovers! This will be a fun van rather than work .... wheels just in today!ImageImage

20 inch wide set 8.5J and 10J will look like this, have had it for 'meetings and shows' on my previous caddy. Was for show use only.

Nangkang are you serious? hope it's only for meetings and shows.
For comfort adjustable dampers is really a must with those rear wheels! Otherwise it's way too hard. V-Maxx Extreme works fine as kit.
Seats with lumbar support, also a must, they will give more comfort on your back for the lower back especially with a set 20's and even that wide rears.
Inner arches, the plastic ones, modify them correctly otherwise it will cost tires and maybe in a bad case the caddy itself as well and the driver I don't want to think about. Be careful with it or let those inner arches completely out!
Rear axle may not swing that much anymore, if you don't block it enough the wheels will hit the body of the caddy itself in the inner arches. can cost also wheels. It's doable I have had it, for meetings and shows I would do it again. For daily use, just a tip, use another smaller set of wheels at the rear.

As daily set I used the same wheel in 19" 8,5J all round, the 20's in wideset look stunning, but are a pain in the ass here with all the speed bumps. I don't have the patience during the week when I have to work to drive like a Sunday driver. I drove with the daily set on Michelins, Pilot Super Sport XL, always grip doesn't matter in what kind of circumstances ;) my 1.6 TDI was remapped.

Hi mate, have the wheels on but havnt driven it yet. Your van inspired me! These wheels are going on a show van, nice colour, pure grey. Spent a lot on specialist gaz custom made rear shocks, 20 position damping and the best, in my opinion KW adjustable front coilovers. Nankang, although a budget tyre i feel is ok, as I have my daily natural grey caddy on Audi S8 20"x8.5j with 225x30 Nankang all round. Its lowered on Eibach spring only and drives superb. Ive also haf 20" staggered wheels on my m series BMW for years with Nankang. I have taken the plastic inner guards out temporarily, but will fit in near future, thank u mate

Hi Rk, took the plastic arches out completely and made some stand off brackets to keep the brake pipes away from the inner wheel. Have you changed the front and rear drop links and anti roll bar at all? If shimming doesnt work then I will remove and re fabricate the bottom inner sliding door ImageImageImageImageImage

I tried myself first to solve it with the sliding door, in the end a plate worker did his work well. Where the door - the inside part - will hit the wheel it was professionally dented in that far that even the door panel with small modifications could go back on. Wasn't worth the work in the end, I never use the sliding door I have to admit. Could better disconnect the handle that the door can't be opened by others to protect the wheel, would have saved a lot work.

ps ... nice stance but over here it would wreck the cheeks of the tires, I couldn't go that low, f* speed bumps ... and needed to load the back with sets of wheels as well and other stuff.

I love challenges and fortunately have a friend who is a steel fabricator who will remove the lower inner section of the sliding door and reattach with a 10mm step and carpet it! Did you do any work on the links and roll bar!

No otherwise you will see it outside that it's not smooth anymore, I dented in the inner section where it would hit the wheel, the panel got in 3 pieces but was carpeted as well, so no one would recognise it. What you say is also an option.

Its the lowest it will go on the front just to see what it looks like! Will raise it a touch before alignment and assess how it rides! Lovely lovely wheels though and thanks for the idea!

Thanks for your advice, altho I'm from a mental health psychiatry background, I love pushing limits and fresh ideas! We have a real asset locally in Simon making the mirrors/gti bumpers too! Will keep you updated on progress!

It worked for me, it's not really plug and play indeed, but it takes some effort to drive safe on 10J rears. Only the speed bumps and to put like 4 sets of wheels in the back was necessary to lift it a bit up 1cm in front and 1 hole at the back.
My Caddy 4 is to low as well now, so have to do that as well with this one. But have another idea for this caddy, have contact with a company in Australia for tires... they aren't available in that size over here...
