My caddy...

Post by Miltonian »

Greetings from S.A.
Got myself a 2005 caddy 1.6i life.
Still got some work to do but its looking good so far.
Sound install looks a bad but working on a plan for it.

How's it bro?

Well I'm happy with the engine but would love some kick from it. Maybe a golf 6 gti exhaust and a cone airfilter would be nice. Would I need to upgrade the software?

Also have my 6x9s and mid ranges installed at the back but on the roof. Have one 10' sub installed.

A front lip would be nice.
Some buffering is also needed on the body.

I have the 1.6 also but have no problem with it. Used to drive small powerless cars. Lol. Roof sound install sounds like a plan. I didnt want to add speaker to the back because of the space they would take up when i need to load something. But thats a good idea.

Pics pls.

I also don't wanna compromise the load space as I do a lot of camping. I dropped the caddy 40/60 running 224/45R18 and even if I load, it doesn't rub. Did the interior myself.

Got a golf 5 auto light switch but I need home coming functionality.
