hi there fella,

im afraid I've got rid of those rims, they were to much hassle to keep clean, as i use the van for work everyday there just not a good choice.

watch this space, I've got some others, I'm putting them on tommorw :)

Evening all,

i got the replacement rims on today, now i know they don't look nowhere near as good, but for a workhorse i think there ok.

You don't necessarily "need" to get lows, especially as it's a work vehicle. If you're on 225/40/18 then you might consider 235/45/18 or even 225/50/18 tyres. These would affect your speedo reading by circa 5% and 8% at 100 km/h respectively (i.e. you'd be going faster than indicated), of which the latter is on the legal limit. It'll fill out the arches a bit and actually provide a much more practical and comfortable ride than 40 profiles. My 2 pennies worth.

Cheers matey,

they are much more comfortable than the 19s, i couldn't go near a kerb with the roti's & where-ever i did you heard that horrible
noise of it catching or scraping, far to much hassle, i put them on the misses audi & flogged em, here's what they looked like on the s-line

Image

i think they looked sick-on this car?
