Meet my AIRRIDE Caddy.
Hello and welcome to the start of my facelift model caddy diary.
I am a huge fan of caddys, my love came around when I was big into my mk1 golfs, so wanted to be different so got a mk1 caddy, same thing - just funky!
I sold my mk1 as it wasn't practical for an everyday. After going on this forum as a guest almost every night as a guest and reading through what amazing builds you guys are doing, I instantly fell in love with Marc from HeavenlyDetails 2011 caddy. I was in shock at all the work he did to it, but one night at a glance I saw in the corner of my eye just before I pressed a link to leave the page, I saw the word sale. I have never pressed the back button so many times before in my life! When I read into it further and realised Marc was actually thinking of selling, I had to get in contact. This wasn't easy as I wasn't signed up, and I could not find a telephone number. I eventually got in contact and long story short bit his hand off and sorted out a deal and the caddy is now sat on my drive.
It is beautiful, but like anything, once you buy a customised car you can't keep it the same, you have to put your own twist on it. I believe in 'built not bought'.. So although it is perfect, I am just going to put my own twist on it in the long run. This is in my opinion extremely hard to do, as I can tell Marc wanted to keep the caddy subtle and sweet.
I have a few things in mind, such as re trimming the dash and door cards which I am in talks with someone about. Also I am in talks with someone on air ride on the rear leaf springs, as I can't get down my own drive ! Just subtle things really. Anyway, enough of the words, which no one probably read lol... PICS ...
Watch this space and thanks for reading.

Re: Meet my 2011 Caddy.
I am not jealous, oh no.
Congrats on the purchase, you are one lucky guy.
What are you looking at air ride-wise for the rear? I'm waiting for info and pricing on a VB air kit for the rear.
