Haha! My apologies to your mum! I'm just so glad to be able to share it all with the forum. Having to keep things secret is not easy or fun. If it inspires builds then great - if it wasn't for the forum and many of the builds on here I wouldn't have gone as far as I have and I'm obviously not going to sit still and will keep evolving it, but thats all part of the fun. Looking forward to chatting with more of you all at shows and meets in the future.

CAE shortshifter. Lot of people at the show thought it was a sequential shifter but it’s a standard H pattern, just uber short throw and is really precise.

The passenger door card is a LHD drivers version so it can have the same handle. I modified the handle so it only had the one window switch and the door pull was moved so it was in the same position as the opposite side (yes I know how mental I sound!)

You can also just make out the A pillar mirror trims which I had done in carbon

A bumper that got built and painted but had been done a few too many times so had Matt build a Golf 7.5 R one instead

Air vent pods - each one was slightly different so I had to make 4 completely custom!

Had the side sill blades and the top trims of the door mouldings done in carbon

Steering wheel column trims in carbon

At this point the Caddy had been at Reflex for a while so I thought I'd pull their leg and made a cake to celebrate!

The 'fuel cell' box for the air compressors that I give full credit to Doc for coming up with the idea and Henry's (riiva design) brother for laser welding. Wasn't quite finished at the show as there's a lid that needs tweaking

Reflex started to build the 7.5 R bumper and at this stage none of us were sure it would look any good! Matt does these so well now using a combination of hot staples and plastic welding.

I modified a radio bezel for an ipad setup. Made a tray the ipad sits in the gets screwed into the stock holes in the dash and then the bezel clips over the top and holds it in place. Obviously wrapped in carbon!

Think Matt is fed up of making bumpers for me?!!

To Deep Impact Detailing the day before the show. How Aaron managed to get the Caddy detailed in a day is beyond me!

You've been waiting to get all those photos out in the public domain for quite a while Dan.
The culmination of all the work really stands to what you now have as the end result.
I'm so happy to have played even the tiniest part or what you've turned out and hope to see it evolve into exactly what you want.
Most of all, I want a passenger run, I've been in other TFSI engined Caddys and non have been next or near the level you've brought yours to.

Part of the fun has been the collaboration with the likes of you Doc. Being a creative person I've always realised its worth listening to everyone because 9 times out of 10 you will be surprised by their ideas. I think once you've worked your magic on the last hurdles you'll be owed at least a passenger run!

And just in case anyone wonders about my sanity, you'll be pleased to hear I've already been to my local van centre to talk to the parts guy about the next evolution of this project so fingers crossed I can get to work on that idea soon................

Wow ! No words can cover what you have done. I've been to car shows since GTI International first started at Knebworth before TRRL and I've never seen that level of detail. Outstanding.
Do you have shares in Carbon ????

No shares but the addiction is pretty serious! TRRL is when I went to my first GTi International.
