I know that you fitted the air vents a long time ago but did you fit anything to take up the gap between the new air vents and the existing duct work - thanks

Essentially I made a round to square adapter using some square gutter and a piece of plastic. It looks like this:

Can't wait to see the latest update! I hope you get a chance to bring it over to Dubshed (in NI) in April

I would love to be able to do dubshed but think its more likely to be Early Edition in May thats more realistic.

Well it's still in pieces and they haven't started the trimming yet so highly doubt everything that needs to be done before a show will happen in that time!

Thanks for the advice on the air vents - didn't think of an adaptor but it makes perfect sense square hole to round hole - how did you hold them in position ?
Slightly off topic your front brakes are off a R32 are you able to cross reference that with ones from an Audi B5-7/S4 to see if these would fit (disc size 345mm)
Thanks again

I decided that in order for them to work I would bond them in place. I've used a structural adhesive and think it's holding up ok. Can't remember if I squirted in a bit of surface modifier before but wouldn't hurt as dash is made from an oily plastic like polypropylene.

Front brakes are from a MK6 Golf R. No idea if B5-7 is the same. You would need to make sure the bell housing doesn't change the offset needed to clear - for example, I think the ttrs and rs3 discs are same size but different bells and so the rs3 disc won't work on the caddy.
