So are the standard hangers lower than the adjustables then? Because I'm running 25mm lower than the lowest setting and I'm still slightly higher than you.

Yeah they are lower than the early kw and the vmaxx but the later kw's have an extra low hole that you can't use or they constantly bang on the rear panel.
I run standard rear hangers and our 10mm axle relocating plates between the leaf spring and shackle kit.

Yeah i've got the plate from you guys but looks like I'm going back to standard hangers when I source some golf coilovers!
Love your van, need to get some more stuff painted on mine soon so hopefully ill see it in person
Edit, Sorry last question! Missed the bit about getting shorter springs made, how did you go about this?

I sent a vmaxx one to a company that makes custom racing springs and asked if they could make them the same rate but 35mm shorter.
They did a great job but it wasn't cheap as they have to be hand made due to the complex shape.
If I was going to order lots of sets they would make a dye or something so they would be a bit cheaper.
I'll find out how much they were and post a pic. I've got an orange pair to go on my new van :-)

Its running Vmaxx rear dampers and shackles, our axle relocating plates that go between the leafs and axle (10mm thick)Pipsical wrote:My rear moves about far too much to go this low i recon, if you deffo dont get any movement i think ill go with your setup. What exactly is it then?
and the standard rear leaf hangers. Standard anti roll bar and bushes and everything done up nice and tight.
I run 8.5 x 18 et35 Fifteen52 tarmacs and have never had to paint the rear arches so can't be too much movement
