Re: Our Tornado Red SDi
Bit of an update, when we got it, it had a sodding great dint in the rear quarter, so it was time to recall my past life as a panel beater.
vvvvv All three of them in one photo vvvv
Initially it was just going to be a case of sorting that quarter out and a bit of colour coding however while I was doing I figured I may as well sort some other knocks out on the other side.
As the bonnets got a few stone chips on it thats also getting done and to keep the colour match correct, both doors and wings will also be done.

Top photo reminds me of the photos in the add i spotted my van forsale in... Add was very old and he'd had no calllers ( all to do with the pics he'd taken them in an orange sunset....)
Needless to say i got the van at a good price
Coming along nicely. Are you going touran front bumper or rub and paint the standard bumper?

Re: Our Tornado Red SDi
plans are Touran front bumper, colour coded rear bumper, side strips, handles and mirror backs. Currently looking at various wheel options but am favouring new style RS4 ones in 18". Ride height for the time being will remain standard due to the shocking condition of our roads.

Re: Our Tornado Red SDi
It's turned into everything except the rear doors and roof. It looks alot worse than it really is, what happened was i'd spot a small scratch, ding or stonechip on the neighbouring panel and think to myself "while Im doing, i may as well do that as well". All the plastics are now in plastic primer, just got to high build prime them to detexture them. Short term I'm colour coding the front bumper until I get my hands on a sensibly priced Touran one.
