Why did you remove them? Just for aesthetics?

I removed them as when I put it on two post ramp I couldn't get the ramp arms underneath, I had to un bolt them and a bolt rounded off, then I had to cut the wires so I gave up at that point, tbh when I got a puncture last year I couldn't even get the standard vw jack under the sill, so I thought nows the time to let go

Fair enough.

What wax / sealant are you using Nic. The gloss in that picture is pretty awesome.

Tbh the sun has helped but I'm using cherry glaze, then Carbanuba wet wax, and elegance detailing spray all from autobrite direct

Does it feel more stable now that you've done the rear bushes ? Mine has been lowered with eibach sportline springs/kw shackles and bilstein b8 all on 19" wheels not too soft but not overly hard - sometimes it feels a little weird on the rear - maybe black bushes are needed ?

It's a massive difference, it really feels like the axle is connected to the rear instead of being floaty, don't forget I have spacer blocks which help also and gaz dampers which help a lot also

When mine was lowered the first time (eibach prokit) you could feel the difference (standard shocks) but the rear seem to be soft . So when lowered the second time (eibach sportline) a difference was also noticed but as the standard shocks failed they were replaced with bilstein versions suitable for lowered springs so replacing the remaining parts (bushes) is the next step which should tighten up the handling even more - doesn't seem to wallow in the corners but needs that bit extra to reduce rear axle movement - will probably change to super pro front wish bones as well after that not more can be done apart from coil overs

Looking at the sidebar lights on page 2. Do you have a link to the eBay page mate? Like these very much. Have some sidebars that I made at work but obviously want to get some lights fitted and also powder coated before I fit them.

Cheers

Thanks very much torque. Will start to get the wiring sorted next. Any posts on how you did the wiring and where it all went to thru the van please.

Cheers

Johnny.
