I bought the bars allready wired, but you take the two wires to either the front or rear side lights

Re: Maxi life build
Well I gave mine an oil service today, used millers oils for the first time too, had lots of recommendations to use this oil so going to give it a whirl, going to go back to once a year servicing at 10k,

Re: Maxi life build
Also today I fitted some replacement lower mirror caps with mk7 golf puddle lights, these had been modified allready by dizzy so saved me some money and time, I followed the how to guide but tbh it was simple enough, I have yet to code them as need to go see a mate with vcds, I did find that one of the two screws on each inner side of mirror snapped off when I tried to remove them, if I get chance I will drill them out and tap and helicoil them, the mirrors were very corroded inside, anyway they fit nice, can't wait to code now

What is the reason for moving to a annual/10k servicing plan?

Re: Maxi life build
Basically I was doing 5k oil changes with quantum longlife oil and I've moved to millers oils on advice from an engine builder and I'm going back to 10k oil changes

I've left it for now, I stay mainly local so can pick up most stuff, but I plan to fit a external dab arielDKX wrote:Ps. Apologies if I missed but how did you sort the dab Ariel issue?
