Maxi4life wrote:Amazing thread horaceImage how do you find the rear door seals up against the carpet like that? I'd like to fully carpet the barn doors but am worried that it will allow water to soak the car
Thanks for that

See post #282 above. The seal is totally fine. No water ingress at all.

Today I finally finished boxing in the bed. The boards at the ends and along the side are removable.

The front and side boards are held in place with double sided velcro tape. The rear board is held in place with magnets as its removed most days when I slide my kitesurfing boards in and out.

Very sleek I must admit! Must have taken a fair amount of time to get it looking like that!

Feeling pretty chuffed. Some time ago my alloy accelerator pedal cover, brought off Ali Express, broke. I had wanted to get a genuine GTi one but here in Australia second hand ones sell for over $100.00. A bit too expensive to justify.

Anyway I found this one on eBay on the weekend for $29.00. Genuine MK6 GTi. ImageImageImage

Nice day today and as we are into Autumn and Winter is not far away I though I would do my 6 monthly windscreen decon and seal.

I recently won a competition with a local detailing store and the prize was a bunch of Angle Wax products.

I'm looking forward to seeing how the H2Go glass sealant goes. I've heard great things about it.

As a test I also sealed the rear drivers side window. I have left the passenger side unsealed so I can test the longevity. I have deleted the rear wiper so the rear glass should make for a nice comparison, especially considering how filthy it gets back there.

Didn't make a much progress as I hoped. Only managed to get the drivers side puddle light installed lol.
