Caddy 1.6tdi Build Thread..

Right its time to start modding the caddy!!! Been a member for a couple of months and LOVE looking at some of the awesome caddys some of you have built.

I think I was quite lucky to find a perfect example so quickly as im such a OCD freak..

Spec:-

1.6 tdi 102hp with 31k full history
Electric windows
Electric heated mirrors
Touran leather steering wheel with working buttons
Cruise Control
Start Stop
Hill start
Front fogs with the cornering assist
Head lamp Washers
Standard DAB/AUX head unit

Gonna start with Touran front bumper all colour coded, 18" alloys, coilovers etc and see where it takes me. Its at the body shop getting colour coded as we speak. will keep u all posted

Genuine mk2 TT alloys 18x9j powder coated in satin anthracite with new falken ZE914 225/40/18 tyres. Had to get 6mm spacers for the front and 8mm spacers for the back. Cant wait to get them on and give it bash with the lowering stick...

Cheers guys wanted 19"s but went for 18"s in the end for a better ride. I might put them on for a while while keeping an eye out for some tasty 19"s....

I reckon those TT wheels are going to look cool. Get it lowered mate, makes a huge difference!

Yeah boyo gonna order Bilstein coilovers from datkside next week. The wife thinks I'm mad spending money on "a van" but I love it....:-)

Just a quick update.. She is back from the sprayers just waiting on the highline door mouldings. Had them spray the fog surrounds and bottom grill gloss black goes really well with the edition 30 grill. Bilsteins ordered but wont be able to get them fitted for a month!! She drives lovely with the 18"s but man she looks high now.

Got the highline door mouldings back sprayed white with the top half wrapped in anthracite to match the wheels. Hopefully get them on tonite... Something slightly different.

Feels like Christmas coilovers are here.... Will fit them with new top mounts as soon as rear shackles come in a couple of days.

Well make sure u post the pictures as soon as there on, it will look well slick with your 19"s..
