Cheers caddyirl. It was some loft insulation I had left over from doing my house and it came with a plastic bag kinda outing on one side and a foil bag the other. I put the foil side facing out to reflect any heat in the summer. Not sure if it actually works but hey seemed a good idea.

think its give me an idea to maybe pack the insulation in plastic bags when stuffing it in.... :D my biggest fear is that it would sweat or draw moisture

Yeah not really sure mine has been fine with moisture all through the winter and late summer. I also sleep in my van occasionally when fishing all nite. The insulation is not air tight in mine it has rips and tears all over. Being a sealed bag it might not be able to breath might sweat. Not sure.

Hey, van looks very tidy!

I'm going for the same wheels on my mk4.
Where did you get your spacers from? Did you have to buy spigot rings, or do the audi wheels suit the same hub fitment?
Do you have any problems with tyres scuffing the arches?

Cheers

I got the spacers from ebay I think cant remember the brand think the 10mm's were H&R. Hubs are the same as Audi's, u say your putting them on ya Mk4 I take it u mean MK4 golf? They have a different stud pattern bud 5x100 later shape vw's and audis have 5x112.

These are the ones I've found on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-8mm-Audi- ... SwfZ1WZ0dT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Did you stick with the 6mm front and 8mm rear, or go upto 10mm?

No it's the new shape caddy they are going on :)

My bad forgot there is a nice new Caddy out HAHAHA.. There not the ones I got off ebay but pretty much the same. Had to put the 10mm on the front when I put the Bilsteins on and they only just clear the shocks.. 8mm on the rear and the door opens fine no scrubbing at all.

Cheers! I'll get a thread up of my new motor once I've got the wheels and coilovers on :)
The audi wheels are coming with wheel bolts, but I assume I'll need some extended bolts if I'm fitting the spacers?

Top notch build, about to purchase a white 2013 1.6tdi , was hoping to get a blue or silver model, but this has given me great inspiration to make it look good
