Had a slight problem with my R32 rear calipers. The abs wire had rubbed through after touching the inside of the tyre so the warning lights had come up on the dash. This was due to the bracket being at a slightly different angle than the original caddy one. I’ve repaired the wire, re-routed it to the outside of the hand brake cable and all should be cured. While I had the jack and tools out I thought I’d take the opportunity to put 2 of my new wheels on as I hadn’t even seen what they looked like on the van since I’ve had tyres on them. Took them straight back off now until spring Image

No not yet, had some extras done and a full respray in the end. Also trying to sort modules out for new clocks.

Can’t wait to get it back as I had a sneak peak and looks good.

You got much more to do?

My Blackberry Caddy

Post by Barbel330 »

Been slowly accumulating all the necessary parts for the 6 pot brake upgrade. Will dry fit everything when I get a chance just to make sure it all fits, then all being well I’ll put them on permanently sometime in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks to Slipperjake for all the advice with parts Image

Seems to be all going together nicely mate yeah :) Just need to dry fit the calipers to the van to make sure the bolts fit as they should.

I do like these a lot - what are they off ? Disc size ? Making me think they would be just about right to stop a maxi with more than the average power upgrade

Calipers are off a Porsche Cayenne, VW Toureg, Audi Q7. Discs are 350mm from a Mercedes ML.
