That paint looks a really nice way to tidy up the interior trim pieces! do you mind me asking where you got the different bits needed from :

Matting paste
Adhesion promote
Upol Plast-X

also how much you needed of each. I'm looking to do the same bits plus the a pillars as well. looks proper OEM

last question what widths and et's are you running on the rotiforms? do you get any rubbing on full compression?

Nothing exciting, just some small dash trims to finish off the Touran swap. :)

Finally had some nice warm t-shirt weather so I did all the niggly little jobs that I’ve been wanting to do for months.

Fitted my little aero micro mudflap things (no idea what they’re called) which I’ve had ready to go for ages. Fixed my sub bass gain adjustment knob into my centre console armrest. Took the rear wheels off, cleaned the inner wheel arches then fitted my half sized arch liners. Also cleaned the insides of the wheels and calipers while the rims were off. Fixed my rear spoiler which was slightly lifting up on one edge. Hoovered the carpets and fitted new carpet mats. Touched in a few stone chips which I’ve gained over winter. Glued down a couple of loose bits of material on my fishing rod hatch in the bulkhead. Overall a productive day, so nice not to be freezing out there, you can get so much more done when the weather behaves Image

Superb van, looks of time and money invested I imagine but well worth it as it’s stunning.
Can I ask, what are half size arch liners? What’s the reason behind them?

When you run 19" wheels with 235/35 tyres and you lower the caddy, you get some rubbing from the tyres on the plastic inner rear wheel arch liners. It wears a hole in the liner within a couple of miles of driving and can damage the tyre so I removed them 2 years ago when I first fitted 19's. There's no big problem running without the liners but you do hear stones rattling around in the arch a bit more which adds to the road noise in the cabin and it also looks a bit untidy without the liner especially around the sliding door area.

What I've done is completely cut away the back third of the arch liner which is the bit that rubs against the tyre. That way, I get the benefit of nice tidy looking wheel arches with reduced noise from stones rattling in the arches but without any tyre rubbing issues :)
