Fitted my Golf Gti gear knob along with a new gaitor with red stitching. The knob had a 6 speed cap on it and my van is 5 speed so I painted the cap to match my van colour, got a 5 speed sticker in gold and lacquered over it. Had to cut about 1.5 inches off the top of the gear stick due to the Golf knob being much taller than the original caddy one.

Nice, was wondering how you got the 5 speed. Read the other post first

Brand new steering wheel supplied and fitted by Claudiu (forum member) today. Been waiting for a long time to upgrade my wheel but wanted the right wheel with red stitching and GTi badge to match my seats and gearknob. Nice red glow coming from the W8 ambient led’s Image

Interior is looking awesome. Is the W8 worth the money would you say mate? Cheapest I can find is £50 then £15 for the loom! Get yours cheaper? Saying that £60 odd is a cheap caddy upgrade these days haha!

Hi mate, looking at your headlights and wanting to get customs myself, what’s the wiring like for them? Did you get them custom wired with new harnesses or a harness adapter? Any info/pics would be brilliant thank you!

I couldn't bare to spend £50+ on a secondhand unit from eBay so I bought a brand new one from VW for £60. It's a nice little mod but it's not life or death. A bit brighter than standard due to more bulbs, more buttons etc but the reason I did it was for the red led's and also I needed a light which holds the VW microphone as I recently fitted a genuine Bluetooth system.

They only come in light grey so today I colour coded it to match my parcel shelf and all my other trim.
