Thanks hef. Very difficult to get a good photo of the colour, they never seem to do it justice :(

As you obviously know your paint I have a question on the blackberry ! When we ordered my old mans t6 I had persuaded him to get the blackberry. The sales man at the time said it was a "soft" paint and it would scratch easier. At the time it struck me as salesman bulls***. My old man was not that picky and liked the gunmetal colour so got that instead. Ever since it has bothered me I didn't call him out that he just had one in gun metal on a ship already. Determined to get one in this colour just curious If it really is softer paint.

No that's nonesense mate. It may show scratches and swirls slightly more than the grey but that's purely because it's a darker colour. VW paint is generally very hard, that's down to the clear coat they use and the systems they use to apply it. I'd imagine the clear coat is exactly the same on all VW's so they're likely to be as hard as each other regardless of the base colour.

As I suspected ! I think if it had been my van we where buying I would have challenged him more but my old man wasn't that picky over colour. Just happy to get rid of his red caddy where the door kept falling off and been on welded on 2. If you don't mind me asking how much did your gti seats cost ?

I have a guy who's willing to sell the front two in the grey tartan for £400 in very good condition I would say that's about the right price then ! Always worth haggling a little more it is a 200 mile round trip after all. Thanks for all your help top man

Most seem to have worn bolsters on the drivers side and still go for £450+ so if yours are in good condition then £400 is a great price. :)

Great looking Caddy and lovely colour. My boss has just been getting a T6 in this colour, it's away getting a lift up roof, air suspension and camper kit in the back

Finally got my Scirocco R bumper painted and fitted it today. Still need to get the led drl's, fit the tow eye cover and get rid of the chrome grill strips.

Thanks, I'm really pleased with how starting to take shape now :D

I want to do something with the headlights but retrofitting bi-xenons is currently way too costly for what it is in my opinion. Not sure what I'm going to do yet but I dislike all the chrome inside these lights so something is on the cards. I want to de-chrome the grill strips next as I think it doesn't suit my van, I may do that tomorrow.
