Can I do it on your van you mean? I've done it on my own van but it's not my profession so it's not something I'd do for somebody else.

Dooka is a member on here, he's the man to speak to. Or look at his website and contact him from there http://dooka.co.uk/car-detailing-services

If you just want a taster of what a ceramic coating is ike but without the commitment, just buy a bottle of either GTechniq C2 V3 or my favourite is CarPro Reload for about £20. They're both simple spray on buff off coatings which will last a few months (full ceramic coatings are more permanent, lasting a good couple of years or more if looked after).

When mine were done (did the X3 at the same time), they were not new, but part of the process was the preparation, I don't know exactly what the detailer did but he had the cars for a day each and stripped back all traces of polish, etc and machined them to remove swirls before applying the treatment. I would recommend that a professional does this, as the results were worth it. As mentioned it made the cars much easier to clean.

Cool. Found someone local to me who is a Gtechniq so might give them a call. Do it in the new year. See what they have to say. Thanks for your help guys.

I would love to stop dirt sticking to the van, problem is mine is sign written so I guess it won’t work as well. And this is after a week of the lanes, following sodding HGV’s etc.

Put some GTechniq glass sealant on the rear screen (and all the other glass) and it'll help repel some of that at least. I applied it to my front screen, front windows and rear screen 2 years ago and the water still runs off the side and rear glass now. Had to re-apply front screen recently as that wears off quicker because it takes most abuse from road grit and wipers. It's pretty amazing stuff, you don't even need to put your wipers on most of the time as the water just runs off over about 40mph.

For the sign written panels try CarPro Reload or GTechniq C2 V3.

The solid oak slide out work bench doing me proud. Vanguard window covers fitted and made a start on the carpeting.

The rear wooden panel will soon be replaced with a black acrylic panel because I can't carpet that section as it'll no doubt get paint splatters on it due to me working on the work bench. The rest of the racking will be carpeted too.

I also started on the modding side of things too by having RAD fit my coilovers.

Some Tommyzoom bulkhead covers and a bit of a seat upgrade.
