Soo i picked up my caddy on wednesday....fairly cheap in my eyes 2k on 130,000 Image

Next day on lunch break roof rack came off and shelves came out ImageImage

Then fitted my Scirroco wheels

Tomorrow the lows will come and tinting the windows too 8)8)8)8)

Sooo i go the front windows tinted today and managed to lower it....what a job :cry: :cry: :cry: Image


Cut the bumpstops too much ImageImage

and ive been informed the bolts are the wrong wayImage

now i have a major BANG when meeting a dip in the road or a pothole i will rectify my wrong doing in a few days :roll: SHAME ON ME

I think it was huxtons satin black but ill check tomorow and throw a pic up for you guys and of course take a snap when ive fitted em too......

What kinda material are ppl using to cover the plywood lining and rear of their caddy
Can i get some brand names and pics of packaging as ill need to do this real soon

i was in the middle of fitting and googling.....i couldnt see anyone with a clear write up inwas just going from pics and had to take the adjustment shackles of 4 times before i figured them out too

And to add i was on borrowed time took me around 4hrs

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Depending on which companies lowering kit you use will dictate which way they should go. I have install photos/instructions from different manufacturers they have them going in different directions.

Far more important is to make sure you use loctite or nylon nuts.

I personally have my bolts on the top and the nuts on the bottom. My theory being that if a nut comes off the bolt won't fall out.

Thats a gd point didnt think of it that way but makes sense

Love the colour dude! Coming along nicely. For the inside material wise in my opinion the easiest to work with is Veltrim and you can find it on eBay!
