"Shouldn't have bought it really but I couldn't resist" - Famous last words right there.

Looks good. These things are crazy expensive here in Australia.

I found an old post on here about the motexion bulkheads so I have tracked down the agent in Wales and bought one. They now do them in the latest anthracite colour that vw now do the facelift caddy interiors in and they are supposed to be stronger than the std bulkheads. Also as its got a big single window in it that solves the Annoying visibility issue in the rear mirror. They also come carpeted on the passenger compartment side. Image

That's the new bulkhead fitted. A little bit of messing about to get it in and I think that if the little curved bits that the light units fit into we're separate clip on bits it would have been a hell of a lot easier ImageImageImage

And they are both the same size.
I also ordered the drivers side glass for a left hand drive so I can have the dotted line and extra curved edge for reduced blind spot

Are they a direct fit? As in, no modification needed?

I'm thinking of ordering the electric folding ones, as I allready have the required doormodules. (They still need to be installed though)

Not sure if they do elec folding ones as I did not ask they are a direct fit as in they bolt on not sure about the plug yet and wiring of the plug.

Thanks mate, wiring I can sort out, so that's no problem. I'm still looking into the correct part numbers as Etka display's 4 mirrorbases per side with different prices. Not sure what's the difference on them though.

I first ordered caddy life mirrors but what came was just normal caddy ones so that's one option.
To get the right ones we googled images until we found a life with the right mirrors fitted and a visable uk registration.
I can give u the part numbers of the ones I got if it will help
