It is true, it does, however the "down and to the left with no high beam" is a "limp mode" for the lights when the ALS system is completely non-operational. There is an ALS module that controls the beam position and high-beam shutter. You need to get the ALS system up and running, trained and error free before the "bend" functions or high beams will work. IIRC we discussed this before. You may be able to graft the ALS system into a CECM, as it's mostly self-contained, but it's designed for a 086S or later BCM, so who knows what part the BCM plays (or whether you can even code the Xenon lights into a CECM).

Yes, I do have mine up and running 100%, and it was quite a learning curve as most others on here that had done the upgrade either had it done by HazzyDayz (or similar) or had done an incomplete upgrade themselves.

Well, I'd start by wiring them in and seeing how much works. Setting the CECM bits relating to Xenon shutters might get you as far as being able to do a high beam flash (that works without the ALS). I don't know what you're going to be able to do with the LEDs as they seem to be largely controlled by the BCM. Maybe they'll work as sidelights without the dimming functions? You're in uncharted territory here, willing to help where I can...

Thanks. That will be great if you can help in any way.
For now it’s just good to have my ride back on the road.

Thanks guys. The mk2 bumper is better than the first one I did as the bumper is slightly narrower and the number plate section is upright where as the first one it was tilted backwards so that the bottom of the bumper was further forward than the number plate.
Here is the new bumper under construction

Well I plugged in one of the xenon head lights with the kufatec converter loom tonight. I’m afraid that not much worked.
The indicator worked and the xenon head light. No shutter and no led side light and no static cornering light. I will do more investigation as soon as I can.
I’m surprised that the led side lights didn’t work as when I plugged the std facelift caddy lights into my 2007 std loom everything works

See our previous discussion re shutter and static cornering light. I'm guessing the pre-FL OEM Xenon (was there ever such a thing?) uses a different protocol for the shutter. I "think" the LED control done via the BCM only works once you've set the lighting profile (which is undocumented on BCM, probably non-existent on CECM). You can probably do a wiring mod to get the LED working (on full bright). At this stage I'd probably give up if I was you, because there's no guarantee that this will ever work properly, and good indications that it won't. These lights are worth a bit, so maybe sell them and use the cash to get a good aftermarket FL Xenon which looks possible to buy nowadays without having to build them yourself...
