Saw your van for the first time in the flesh today (B&Q Plymouth). Photos don't do it justice.
Headlights were my favourite, closely followed by your front bumper. Even the missus was impressed!

Lol yup that was me. And thanks. Shame you had to see her so dirty as not had time to wash her for a while.
I've not done much to the van lately as work has been so busy and I've been trying to perfect the turbo control maps before I move up a bit higher on the bhp.
Will be taking it for a power run soon to see just what it's kicking out.

My caddy build and face lift

Post by KenTDI140 »

Not yet. I've been struggling with the turbo control maps to cure a problem when demanding full boost under 1800 rpm as the vnt over compensates very fast and causes the turbo to flutter.
This causes the power to come on and of very fast to.
I've also been working on getting my 500 bhp mk2 escort rs2000 back on the road which until xmas had not been started or driven for 16 years.

It's a bit dirty in some of these pics and the front is all off right now as I'm doing some minor restoration bits before they get worse ImageImageImageImageImage

Always liked the RS2000 but never thought of getting one as always liked the lancia delta intergrale - almost got one but got away so ending up with what must be the most successful touring car ever - the BMW M3 (e30) like yours no driver aids (apart from abs)

I found an old post on here about the motexion bulkheads so I have tracked down the agent in Wales and bought one. They now do them in the latest anthracite colour that vw now do the facelift caddy interiors in and they are supposed to be stronger than the std bulkheads. Also as its got a big single window in it that solves the Annoying visibility issue in the rear mirror. They also come carpeted on the passenger compartment side. Image

Can these still be bought? Any links?

Cheers
