This causes the power to come on and of very fast to.
I've also been working on getting my 500 bhp mk2 escort rs2000 back on the road which until xmas had not been started or driven for 16 years.

My caddy build and face lift

I've just about got the mapping for it sorted.
It's not really a which one as I've been trying different parts to get the best power top end as I can but not make it too laggy low down.
Currently I'm using the bmm gt1646v
Turbo and exhaust wheel with a billet light weight 49mm compressor wheel. Which is the same size as a 150 arl wheel.
I might try the BMW exhaust wheel I have again now that I've got better control of the vnt but I think it will be a bit too laggy for my needs.

The next step is going to be to order the 5 link kit that was posed up about

lol I know what the difference will be even before it's fitted.
It won't be so saggy on the back as the shocks will be able to do more work. Also better all round handling and now tyres scrubbing on the plastic inner arches.
It will be a few weeks before it's fitted as the kit won't be available till mid April at least and I'm going to have shocks specially made for me from quantum racing who I've used in the past

Well hopefully I should have more to post soon. I have ordered the rear link kit and payed a deposit for it. I have also begun to get the measurements sorted to get the rear coilovers shock made.
Took the caddy to a weigh bridge and got the total weight and rear axel weight too my caddy weighs 1740kg total weight and 7220 kg on the rear axel.
Next will be work out what the origionaly leaf spring poundage rating is so I can get the correct coil springs to fit as well.

I have also finally got the mapping issues sorted with the help of a friend so if I get time tomorrow I'll get it booked in for a couple of power runs on the rolling road.
Wonder if it will be any where near the 200 plus bhp I want ?????

Got the day I run done today.
Also did a little playing with slightly different injector timings but no gains to be found
Max power at the wheels was 209.7 bhp at 3500 rpm which ends up at 250 bhp at the fly wheel
That's better than I was hoping for so I'm pretty pleased with it.

I'll have to calculate that as we forgot to turn on the torque plot.
