Looking good ken, How much more travel do you reckon your going to get over the standard set up?

It’s not more travel over the std set up. It was more about being able to keep enough travel for the suspension to work properly. These shocks only have 100 mm of travel but that’s 30 mm more than the shocks that were being offered with the link kit.
The big problem with the std caddy rear suspension is that the shocks are at quite an inclined angle and the more you lower the caddy the worse that angle gets. Which also means that when you hit a bump and the shocks get compressed and the bigger the bump the less the shocks can do to dampen the springs.
A shock absorber works best when it’s upright and is then direct acting on the spring.
So I wanted to make sure that with my van at the ride hight I want my shocks have enough travel to not bottom out when the bump stops hit and also have enough travel so that on the rebound or when the suspension is on droop it won’t lift a rear wheel off the road which in a corner would cause the read end to loose grip.

I’m hoping to spend a day fitting the whole kit next weekend.

What is the partnumber of the tray with 4 slots and switch.

I used the different steering wheel control module and made a small alteration to the wiring harness in the wheel.
Not sure on the part no of the console section but I’m pretty sure it’s from a touran

I used the ch module that everyone uses for the mk6 wheel and programmed it with vcds
The loom alteration was one wire for the horn

You do realise that with this mod the lights on the wheel won’t work neither will the cruise buttons

No because you posted that everything worked so i assumed that de cruise buttons were also working.

Never mind then the only reason to change my mk6 wheel to mk7 were the cruise buttons.
