I have found a way to make it all work but it means stripping the lights down. Doing away with the led set up and building my own led lights and using traditional wiring methods. One light is finished and works fine but I just have not had time to do the other one yet.

If you have a BCM you can do the proper retrofit. KenTDI140 had to do major workarounds as he is using CECM which doesn't have support for ALS. Your description implies you have either not fitted ALS, or it is not wired/coded correctly. Here is a guide for the retrofit:

The retro fit was not possible on my van as it’s an 07. I would have had to totally fit an 11 plate on loom which is more than I was prepared to do.
I have not fitted als

Contribute. Make a topic about your van. This is a give and take forum, so if you want to take you must give. In any case, as long as your BCM is 086 or later (I really don't think it makes a difference which letters follow), it has the necessary support for BiXenon. If your van is 2011 you must have replaced BCM, as 087 was only factory fitted after 2014 AFAIK.

Wow is all I can say ken you’ve got an incredible amount of patience and skill love the motivation you have even after trashing the front end you’ve bounced back like it’s nothing top notch mate just a quick one you’ve clearly got a lot of knowledge on engines and how they work lol I’m wondering do you know much about the engine conversions?
Thanks in advance.

The conversion is the easy bit it’s getting the ecu to work that’s the hard bit and wiring changes.
Although mine is heavily modified it’s still essentially the std 1900 engine so I’m still on my original ecu.

My friend/mechanic was part way through it but sadly passed away so I’m left with an unfinished engine. Was just wondering if I could pm you as I’m stuck with a few things. Thanks for the reply.

Hi ken
How did you get your mk7 Golf steering wheel to work?
As I have one but can’t get it to work?

I haven’t done any more to the exterior and I just haven’t had time to get the other headlight modified yet as I have had so many jobs to do on the house and new garage.
I did spend more time fine tuning my tune and I’m now pushing close to 300 bhp.
