And cruise control, but for some reason that hasn’t worked. So a bit of research why and then a trip back to see him

@james400 they are wired into cecm b-7 (red wire) and brown to the earth post. They then need coding in.

@cupra.al thanks I’ve always been a fan of the tartan and found the seats I have extremely comfortable so opted to have them retrimmed

The seats had a lot of lugs on so these needed cutting off first. I tried them on the caddy seat bases but sat to low, so opted for Touran bases and the rails were smaller so I ended up making 4 new brackets for the to be bolted to

I found it very uncomfortable as i thought it was very low. I’ll try and hunt out some pictures and measurements for you.

It was a lot of work, trial and error but I think it was worth it especially now they’ve been re trimmed

If it’s the seats in the last couple of pictures of the seats, I had the inserts re trimmed in the tartan.

The original seats were black and grey

Over the last couple of days I’ve managed to get the passenger door card back together

I managed to get a Lhd door card from Germany as my ocd was kicking in Image. I had a plate made to cover where the mirror knob was
And also had one of the window buttons deleted to make it a one button switch cover.

I’ve also picked up my front bumper after the repair, the painted parts for the new mirrors, I’m currently waiting for the new indicators and puddle lights to arrive. Once they come I can get the puddle light looms that I got off @tommyzoom ran.

I also checked on progress on the rear bumper and that’s getting there, just needs a few tweaks.

I’ve also spent a lot of time making various looms for the speakers do I can reposition the tweeters and for the other job I’m planning.

Those are a work of art mate! Love the gloss black trim... I got a pair of door cards where the previous owner had done the trim in white but I'll be changing it to black
