I was thinking of converting to touran 4 pots but always wondered what the extra ‘pot’ actually does

But seeing yours, might just stick with the caddy set.

As for the black background, can that be painted any colour then?

If irc the 4th pod is a side light on the touran ones.

As for the background I’m a bit unsure myself, but I’m sure Hutchy could advise you better. I’ve only ever seen silver or black backgrounds myself

Yeah, I’ve been in touch with him. I can’t imagine black is any more reflective than say colour coded to van? I’ll give it a bash, what’s the worst that can happen

Great build tread ,quick question your touran mirrors. Are they from the 03-06 models and are they a direct fit or do you have to use the caddy base plate cheers :D

Cheers pal, they are from a 05 touran and they are on the original plates. Here’s a guide, hope it works as I’m doing it off my phone, I looked through this to get a rough idea and then realised the amount of plastic welding involved so I asked the guy who does all my painting if he could do it.

It saved a lot of time and hassle but if you have the time and skills have a bash and use the guide as a reference. I also believe you will need everything coding afterwards, I was lucky I bought the full electric windows, door cards and when I plugged them in they worked.

Took advantage of the sunny evening and fitted my footwell lights. Massive thanks to Tommyzoom for supplying these and the other looms I have waiting to go on.

Now I just need to get these and some other bits coded

Summer's too hot to be working outside on cars, Spring and Autumn don't exist anymore, so winter is the only option
