Looks wicked bud! Don't think I would've sprayed the plastics myself, I'd be forever scared of scratching/catching them! But look good regardless!
Did you just get your original roof liner retrimmed above the cab?
I need to see what these trims do! Are they for the bulkhead removal?

I had the original headliner trimmed in a black stretch carpet.

The plastics seem to be pretty hard wearing as no scratches up to now

Finally managed to get the door cards back together in preparation for installing them tomorrow

Also discovered that the new drivers side switch is different to the original
Image
Is it possible to convert so it can be used on the double switch instead of the original touran one?

Also one last query I ran a cable to a switched live to power the windows, when I install the touran mechanisms will the need coding or is simply plug and play?

Today I got the passenger side window converted to electric, also replaced the speaker for the vibe slick that I'd put on the old door and finally cut the door card down to match.

Got a little surprise that the door card light came on as I thought it had to be coded in.

If the weather stays nice tomorrow I will hopefully get the driver side done

Bought some led bulbs yesterday, 1 for the interior light and 2 for the number plate lights. These are them with the interior light cover which I had tinted at the same time as the windows
Image

I have managed to get the interior light to work with no problems
Off
Image
On
Image
Tried to do the number plate lights and I can't get them to work together, they come on and go off after a couple of seconds. However I can get one to stay on if the original light bulb is left in
Image
I was told these would be a straight swap as they would be compatible with the van. Has anyone else had this trouble? Or could someone point me in the right direction

I don't think the Halfords LEDs have a error cancelling circuit built in, this is why you have them cutting out.
You need some with the error cancelling built in.

Dont suppose you have the part number for the cable that goes from the switches to the motor on the door cards for the standard caddy switches as I need both sides

Today was mot time and it failed. It needed a drop link and unbeknown to me the inside of the tyres had worn. All sorted now and ready for the retest tomorrow. Hate this time of year as it potentially eats into the funds for doing things to the van
