That is so slick. Are you planning on racing decals?

A kit I did buy from eBay where the panels were already carpeted. But my standard panels were broke when I purchased the van.kemsley25 wrote:Wow van looks awesome! Is the rear carpet a kit you bought?

Re: white caddy showvan/RACER !?
The standard N/A engine is 150bhp. 250 can be easily achieved with the parts I'm using. And will be nice and driveable on the road toogogsie wrote:Cool build!, that engine will sound great.
Have to ask though is 250bhp a bit optimistic from a fairly standard 2.0L?. Saying that i have no idea what the fsi is standard.

I didn't make the rear bumper. But aparently it was a little bit of a nightmare as the 2 bumpers are totally different shapesTrials 21 wrote:Wow i love this build thread, how is the mk7 gti rear end fitment?

Not much of an update but rocker cover mocked up after cnc machined. Ready for filler and breather system to sort out
Engine should be finished end of the week!

Re: white caddy showvan/RACER !?
Update: ATS race wheels from a golf cup car are being refurbished as we speak.
Gearbox is currently being rebuilt
So engine and gearbox can soon go back in the van..
And a few bits have been bolted back in the BAY

Lowered the van this week.
Rear leaf setup went well everything came undone as a 12plate van should.
Front setup both top mounts had a bolt either side spinning in the captive nuts. (The joys). Masked everything up (paintwork/windows etc. And ground the heads off the bolts.
Van is on the maximum drop
Can't wait to get some wheels.
