Re: THAT white caddy 2012
I really haven't had time to concentrate on the van. As due to work commitments I haven't even had time to keep the van clean let alone do work onit.
So the custom rear set up is out the window (because I don't have time to do some R and D)
I on the other hand have purchased the Intermotiv rear kit and will be here this week. And shortly fitted after it arrives.
I 100% am not happy with the paint work..... yea looks good in the pics but it needs attention. So a full respray in white will be done in January
Another set of wheels will be fitted
And of course a bigger Brake kit

Re: THAT white caddy 2012
I'm looking into air ride for mine at the moment too.
I've also seen the intermotiv rear end as the only decent option available however I really love the aggressive stance of yours with the front air'ed out and the rear just down on the lowering kit.
Is the rear as low as it will go with the flip kit and how does it ride?
Thanks
Sam

Re: THAT white caddy 2012
I had the front lowered on coilovers to start with and was bottoming out the strut. Which wasn't good at all. I put air on the front and rides pretty much like standard only downfall is I couldn't use an anti rollbar due to the significant wishbone angle when the subframe is on the floor. Chassis notch was also done to clear the driveshaft.Lanky wrote:I'm looking into air ride for mine at the moment too.

The rear is fully lowered on flip plates and rides 'okay' I'm on vmaxx dampers which to me are rubbish I will be approx 80-90 MM lower with the air ride on the back
As soon as the Intermotiv kit arrives I'll let you guys know what it's like and how it fits.

Re: THAT white caddy 2012
This Caddy looks sick man!
Would I just ask before fitting air ride, what thickness adaptors you used and if you have a link? Would they be just 5 x 112 - 5 x 120?
Also what sized tyres?
After seeing this I have to get that set up!
Any help would be good!
Cheers!

Loving your LR wheels so much I have managed to bag a set, couple of questions what size tyres did you go for ? And you mentioned hub centric spacers what size / thickness would you recommend.
Keep the update coming looks nice.

Re: THAT white caddy 2012
Slow updates as usual. The rear suspension I purchased from Intermotiv in the end. Sitting on the fuel tank which I will replace with an alloy tank and the van will sit lower
I was going to design my own suspension but just don't have the time
