Slow progress, but getting there. Got it powered up and sounding great, more tuning and a lot more panel work to do.Image

Just out of curiosity how have you connected the amp battery to the van battery?

200amp split charge relay located just to the right of the Aux battery compartment.

Literally just spotted that!! Ive ended up fitting a ring dc/dc charger not sure about the diesels but mine only charged at 12ish volts most of the time does yours cope ok with the amplifiers? Lovely job so far by the way can't wait for some updates!

That's low to only charge at 12volts I would investigate alternator output , mines about 14.6 volts on idle. Cheers

Tested a few other new vans and they're the same as mine was ready for booking it in! That's where I found out about these chargers RING RSCDC30 as their alternators/smart charge weren't playing game with their leisure battery setups

I think if the van has stop-start or is EU6 with smart alternator you need a DC-DC charge box rather than a traditional split charger because the ECU will be dropping the alternator charge when it wants to.

Loving the setup very clean. Can I give you a bit of warning. If I was you I would upgrade your subs I have blowing 4 of them in the past very easy. They are BANGING when they are on but they don't cope well. That's just my opinion but I would not want you to go through all that great effort and then they let you down. I had to move to competition subs and I didn't have as good a set up you have. Keep up the hard work

Cheers for advice.
Been in the industry for 23years
Fitted loads of these with no problems, key thing is getting the right amp and correct set up of sensitivity/gain. Preferred choice of sub for me from all the brands I deal with, perfect for space and sound quality.

Not all hidden mate, making inset panels for Amps and sub so still will be seen behind seats, bit of back lighting as well.
