I used power flex black bushes on anti roll bar and purple on leaf spring and shackle bushes. Not harsh or noisy at all, silent.

Yes I would say it’s strait forward if your mechanically minded. Took me 4 or 5 hours Ill be honest mate I Can’t remember exactly what you need but a quick list off the top of my head.

-you will need the 3 dash brackets from the Touran

- steering wheel column trim

- radio surround trim

- the Touran ducts for the air vents

- I think you need the Touran compartment above the ash tray don’t think the caddy one will fit.

Seen one which has everything but the radio surround also looking to do the retrofit a/c so best time should be done together at the same time

Natural grey caddy build

Post by slipperjake »

Few updates but no pics! Going to put some pictures up when all this snow has cleared

Fitted new Recaro seats out of a corsa vxr
Also fitted some new wheels oz racing superleggeras 18x8 wrapped in Goodyear Eagle f1s which are almost 10kg per corner lighter than my Audi speedline splits! So their for sale... Massive improvement

Also some updates more boost! Got a darkside s3 intercooler to go in (same as THS) just got to sort out pipework. Also planning on larger better turbo gtb2060vklr along with some head porting and cp3 pump, this should see me 300bhp and 600nm

Thats it for now will put more pics up as things progress.

Nice! Look forward to seeing all that.

I've had some vxr seats for a while but I don't know if I'm going to use them. I've sat them in the van and not sure I like them due to the bulkhead being in place. Wish I could do away with my bulkhead but I can't unfortunately.

Yeah the back is all racked out and built upto the bulkhead. I've got a big compressor right behind the drivers seat :(

I love the vxr seats nice and comfy and hold you in the seat nicely. I’m the same can’t remove my bulkhead because of work tools in the back, also looking at racking it out for work.

More pics to follow when all is complete

I’ve never seen this twin calliper set up before, not on ‘normal’ cars anyway. Is it common on higher performance cars, ie Ferrari’s?

You live and learn! I assume it’s a weight saving measure?
