Re: Natural grey caddy build
I think tubular t45 would be far stronger and more adjustable as this would be on Rose joints. I would make a tubular subframe maybe slightly raised higher than the stock this would allow the arms to sit at parallel or above to the ground this will improve handling a lot.

Re: Natural grey caddy build
Just gave her fresh oil and filter. Been doing it every 5k.
Also noticed the guard I fitted has been doing its job! Definitely worth buying if lowered.

Their Bembo calipers found on Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, vw Touareg. The rear hand brake calliper is a Brembo Ferrari calliper.

Re: Natural grey caddy build
Thanks for the quick reply. Were they straight bolt on or did you have to get brackets made up?slipperjake wrote:Their Bembo calipers found on Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q7, vw Touareg. The rear hand brake calliper is a Brembo Ferrari calliper.

Re: Natural grey caddy build
Fronts directly bolt up onto the hub, you will need new brake lines and different discs, I think I had the discs of a ml350.
The rears are a lot of work probably took me 3 days! Because I had to make up custom brackets. You will have to use longer brake lines and had to get longer hand brake cables made up.
Their well worth the upgrade if your looking for ultimate stopping power!

Re: Natural grey caddy build
What bushes did you use on the rear end - I was looking to fit powerflex black to mine (a maxi) on the rear think the maxi is a bit more stable when lowered but could just be me
