I doubt it without heating them up some how.torque777 wrote:Can the bushes be pushed out? I will be doing this on the drive
We didn't completely burn them out, just got them warm then knocked them out with the hammer.
Maybe if you used a heat gun it might work?

Thanks, I do have some gaz I use for soldering so maybe that would do, can you tell me if the chassis bush originally is a two piece? Looking on parts diagrams it looks it

Looks like there is a cup tool to press this bush out.
It is one piece, even though the ETKA diagram makes it look like a two piece.
Here's the removal instructions from ElsaWIN.

Hi,
Really love the look of your Caddy looks really good with new graphics.
The Compomotive alloys look great on it what offset where these alloys. Im going for the Rota D154 which are very similar and are 8.5x18 offset 45 so hopefully should fit flush with arches.

The wheels on my van are 8x18 ET45, I have TT front wide track on it though so they sit further out on than on standard Caddy suspension.Autodevelopments wrote:Hi,

One of the rears sits really nice and the other needs a 10mm spacer due to the offset axle for the fuel filler neck.
I always use this before buying any wheels.

Awesome work, really good to see someone pushing the performance/handling side of the caddy forward

That is some real power, Which Engine, Turbo and injectors are you running ?
I am pretty happy with my remapped stock CAYE engine, Though I only use it as my daily driver so I don´t really need any extreme power, maybe I will tweak some more later.... I have only had my caddy for a few days now

This is used as a daily / parts collection van. I took it on a track day as my track car wasn't ready but doubt it will go on track again.
The full spec is here:

Thanks

Previously I have done a lot of custom remaps with mechanically altered petrol engines, but I have not done anything like that with a diesel......
Now you have given me bad ideas
