She's finally here!
Got call from VW yesterday that my new van has arrived and should be ready for collection by Friday.

Can't really wait to get it Image.
Have so many bits at home that I consider myself lucky to be still allowed to live there.
Won't be doing much (or will at least try not to) as need to finish off few things for other lads first but should be able to squeeze in few small ones for starters.
She's highline 150 DSG. List of extras to follow soonImage

The plan for starters:

-eibach kit
-tpms
-seats
-webasto
-door cards
-carpet the load area
-Rline steering wheel
-armrest console
-leather handbrake cover with grey stitching
-gear knob with grey stitching

What surprised me is that it seems with bi-xenon headlights I didn't get the auto levelling as there is a wheel for it beside headlight switch. I didn't pick headlight washers as they are complete waste of time and money in my opinion only wasting screen wash. Can anyone confirm they have/don't have it?

Didn't look under the van to see if level sensors are there but defo will once I get herImage

Nearly got the bulkhead finished too as it was time to update the looks of it. It originally had grey carpet on cabin side so changed that to black to match the interior plastics and did other side anthracite grey as the load area will have it too. Just need to fit back the glass.

So you can say modding has started alreadyImage

Nice 4  they're 25w hids, so there's no legal requirement for headlight wash or auto levelling, you only get headlight wash as a individual option or with the winter pack. How long did you have to wait, I've been told upto 9 months

In Ireland all the options are a mess! I did my research on them and combined whatever I could from all over Europe. Winter pack isn't available here at all and headlight washers were €350 or something crazy like that. The FL had winter pack available.
13 weeks it took start to finish.

She's a beauty, bet you can't wait!
Like the list of mods you have planned, I'm sure it won't stop at that.

You did well on build time, I know a few (in UK) are getting quoted ridiculous lead times.
You have the desirable and difficult retrofit options already, I'm certain you'll build this beyond anything that could be ordered from the factory.

Oh it's a torture!!! Haha.
I also didn't realise they using red letters in the badge again....
Might get rid of it as someone might want to wedge it off with sharp tool

I have the bi xenons without washers, and agree with you...waste of time! Had the van 7 months and really happy with them....and the rest of the van lol!

Ok so I managed to collect her yesterday late afternoon and absolutely love it. The power and DSG is just something else!
After giving her a clean today I must say the new interior setup is great apart from seats which let it down a bit. They just look out of place in the cabin in my opinion. The spec I went for is:
-dsg highline
-alarm with tow protection
-bi-xenons
-high beam assist
-adaptive cruise control
-discover media sat nav
-smokers pack even tho I don't smoke Image
-aluminium pedals
-decorative linearus dash
-park assist
-17" rockhampton alloys + full size spare alloy wheel
-first aid and triangle
-heated seats
-climatronic
-storage bags on barn doors
-rubber floor in load area, carpet in cabin
-tow bar preparation
-small folding mirrors
-ladder flap
-two sliding doors
-underbody protection

I think that's it.
Managed to fit the tray for load area today and changed the headlight switch to aluminium one.
I was bit disappointed that my engine cover from 1.6 ain't even a close fit in that one. Image. Time to do a search! In next few days more things should be fitted if I get the time. Also managed to fit Audi Q7 led spotlights in the bulkhead to illuminate on door sills when sliding doors are open.

Anyway pics:
