That looks like ACC/DSG/Heated wheel so I would say yes matey. But there’s always BUT🤦🏻‍♂️Image

Rev “N” became “AG” in 2016 so in theory it’s exactly same wheel

No really as they keep revising the part numbers randomly. I reckon we will never be able to work out how they do it.
Etka will correct the number if it was changed once you check the price screen

Thanks for your help Stan!

Well, I’ve ordered one off the bay of E’s so fingers crossed it works when fitted.

Is it just a case of ticking the box in VCDS or do I need to go a little deeper?

My Ampire reverse camera failed few weeks ago. It seems it’s rubbish build quality and didn’t last very long but just over a year. The black body it has started peeling as well which looked very bad and I would imagine it should have lasted longer than that.
The reason I went for it was because I didn’t want anything cheap and cheerful and wanted something that would suit caddy grip moulding as there isn’t much room behind it and didn’t want to be cutting the door to fit one of the VW OEM units like polo 6c or scirocco.
It was a bad choice it seems :(

So I decided to start the research again to find a replacement and after a while I came across OEM Opel/Vauxhall Insignia reverse camera.

I decided to go for it and €60 and week later it arrived.
I had my concerns about its size as I haven’t seen one before but when it came I knew straight away that this should work.
This is how I placed it in the trim, right under the bolt mount beside the lock barrel.
Had to do some trimming but the trim is still perfect and unaffected. The camera sits perfect too as it has to plastic wings on either side so because the trim thickness is greater I used the sand paper drum on my dremel to shave some off and it clipped in place spot on.
So at the mo very happy with it as the picture is quite good and it looks like oem unit on the outside as well.
I chopped the big plug off and extended the wires so it can go through the grommet into the inside of the door.

Are you just gonna use it for DSG paddles and ACC? Without heating?

If so you just will need to enable paddles in the steering wheel. I didn’t try them without changing the setting so perhaps they’ll work without doing soImageImage

Acc and Dsg. Is there extra work needed for the heated part ?

Ahh ok, I’ve got heated seats. How difficult is the fiddling with the sliprings?
