Hi Graham,
Yes I'm very happy with the ride height and with how it drives now it's lowered. I wouldn't want to go any lower as one of the car parks I use has those alligator teeth on the exit and they hit the mud flaps now when they flick back up after you've driven over them, any lower and they'd hit the sills. Plus the 45mm kit is the only VW approved kit as far as I know so there shouldn't be any warranty issues.

Thanks Andrew,
Just tried to order a lowering kit from my local dealer but as the front axle weight limit is 1150kg they won't supply or fit it, bit of a pain as they offered 10% off.
The axle weight is on a sticker as you open your drivers door, mine says 1150 for front axle weight and 1200 for reat, would you check your to see if it's the same.
Thanks,
Graham

hi stan
you seem to be the guy who has done the most with Webasto winter heaters. i have just brought a 2014 2.0 dsg highline and it has a webasto but i was wondering do you have a Tele Start kit fitted to yours and which kit did you use. as i wish to upgrade mine to tele start but need the webasto model number to match the tele start.

For me they just stick out too much if I'm honest Image

I went for 7.5x18 et45

These don't look like et45, as they stick out further and also only being 7.5" wide, I have 18x8 et45 and they are slightly in from arch

These wheels I test fitted were not 7.5x18 et45 :)

I went for that size at the end ;-)

stan-the-man wrote:Today I managed to fit one of the new touran 5T puddle lights into one of my mirrors.
Very pleased with end result.
There isn't much room in there as the light unit itself isn't the smallest.
Had to shave off the area to make the light flush with the trim.

Overall delighted!

Finally last night got my new wheels fitted. Can't believe how much difference an 1" makes🤣🤣🤣

Also finally got the sensors in for direct TPMS.
On the pic wheel size was set incorrectly hence the fault in dash and pressure differences.

Happy days!Image
