Finally fitted my reverse camera and led lights. Was shocked to discover this

Image

Never removed the light lens and the car isn't 1yr old yet.

Also when removing the trim the bolts were rusted and sized resulting in this:

Image

The threaded part is originally moulded into the trim itself.

Old original bolt on right, new stainless steel on left. Had the new ones greased up as well Image

The seats originated from 2013 b7 passat first then I used b8 electric bases and frames to convert them to what they are now :)

Had some free time at work so decided it's time to fit my new speakers and door cards Image

Prewired the mirrors for puddle lights and also fitted oem led light under the door card for extra blingImage

Adapters were made from MDF as the original speaker mounting is around 21cm diameter and oem dynaudio speaker is much smaller.

New door card fitted, matches the seats perfect!

Also added brushed aluminium window switches

Thank you lads! Image

It's the eibach kit I used :).
Considering getting 18" wheels now as well but just not 100% yet.

Also thanks to cyberman_uk idea I fitted alarm led on the passenger door card for extra blingImage. Had to run wiring from drivers door reg motor as the passenger one has the pin in place but it's not live.
There's a mark underneath to where the hole should be to make location easier. Happy days!

Today I managed to fit one of the new touran 5T puddle lights into one of my mirrors.
Very pleased with end result.
There isn't much room in there as the light unit itself isn't the smallest.
Had to shave off the area to make the light flush with the trim.

Overall delighted!

Thanks Stan,
I understand 2 kits are available, a 35 and 45 mm drop, VW say they only supply the 35mm kit, I don't want to void any future warranty claim. Did VW fit yours and can remember what kit was fitted, a part number would be great.
Thanks Gaj 69
