My first Black Caddy / thread

Post by Rk89 »

Hi I have been a member for just over a week prior to picking up my Caddy.
I have wanted one for the last couple of years, but due to my job always needed something bigger
Now I finally have one and am thinking why didn't I get it sooner as I absolutely love it
It's completely standard, thank you to this forum I now have a long list of alterations and can't wait to start.
Here's a few pictures of how it looks.
Thanks for looking ImageImage

Happy day today I Managed to avoid the rain long enough to give her a little clean, and take some photos of the booty, Image I went for gloss vinyl on the rear windows to give a total black out, took off the rear wiper and now need the back bumper colour coded. Image

Yeah mate I was debating black or silver, glad I chose black, yours looks pukka. And I like the back of yours with the black badge, what wheels are you going to get.

Yeah I think the black looks smooth, and nice it's so hard to decide which wheels to get as I see so many nice caddys on here with nice wheels, yeah black alloys look sweet on black.

Little perches from eBay which I think look rather cool and they were only £10 and a straight swap for the old ones.

After taking of the wiper I have seen lots of different things people have used for a bung / grommet, I first purchased the rubber bung from halfords but unfortunately it was too slack. So I found an a alternative from screwfix, nobody seems to sell black bungs so I thought I would get some black vinyl and try and wrap it. Which I did and I'm much happier with it being a gloss finish as it will match the van much better. Image
