Fitted some black side bars from Van X which I am really pleased with and also added some new dials

Thank you, sorry missed this post. I am not to far from Exeter and got myself a Specialized trail bike. How about yourself?Robmjones wrote:Welcome. Loving the improvements to your van.
Where in the South West are you based? And what bike do you ride?

What's the design for the single bed? Making it yourself? Good build so far - got the outside nailed! Will be doing something similar myself but far more ugly on the outside.

Yeah I am planning on building myself, hopefully make a start this weekend now that I have finished the flooring and carpet. Plan on having a single bed on the passenger side of the van that folds back so you get still access the van via the side, well that is the plan anywayhenrycaddy wrote: ↑Sun Jun 04, 2017 8:01 pm What's the design for the single bed? Finally finished the sound proofing/insulating the back of van and carpeting but forgot to take some pictures of my progress! Flooring is down now as well with two bike mounts in place. Hoping to get started on the bed build this weekend.

Looking great so far mate, am basically exactly same stage as you.
How exactly have you bolted the mount to the floor?
Need to fit vinyl floor on mine next, what did you use to glue yours down?

Thank you. I have used some round base t-nuts so I can bolt the mounts into the floor, but they are 10mm Allen key so I can quickly swap them to a different mount for a different bike etc.tangoed-caddy wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2017 8:41 pm Looking great so far mate, am basically exactly same stage as you.

Yeah they are not easy to get hold off. I made up a 10mm spacer for mine so I can fit bikes with boost width forks.

Plan adding a leisure battery and electrics in the near future but for now I built up this temporary roof section to hold my cheap lights from Lidl. Turned out looking better than I expected

Got mine off eBay from the States, postage was quick. Ebay item number 222297239525. The 2 bikes on the right in the photo are mounted on them.Nobeerinthefridge wrote:Been trying to find a seasucker fork mount, boost width, like hens teeth!.
