My First Caddy
Hi guys thought I'd a start a thread to monitor my progress on my recently purchased 2010 caddy!
Been on the vag scene now for the past few years after purchasing an A3 and had fun making it my own
I then fancied a change and wanted a caddy so sold up and bought a standard polo pd130 to run about in while I saved and searched for a tidy one, this didn't stay standard very long! Lol
I was then tipped off about a tidy 1.9tdi in reflex silver, 60k one careful owner from new and very good condition
The deal was done the same week and was mine!

Re: My First Caddy
Managed to steal a few things from the polo before it went such as interior bulbs, diamond vision headlight bulbs, and took my headunit out which has now been in all 3! Lol
Ordered a pair of Heko wind deflectors, and canbus harness/fascia for the headunit.
Headunit is now in along with new style heater controls which I fitted today

Judging by your other 2, this has all the hallmarks of an interesting build!

I've got the same head unit. Was yours plug and play and working as normal in the caddy?
Mine cuts out when stop/start engine stops, and when I turn my ignition off!! It's driving me mad!

Re: My First Caddy
Today I hit the road at 6am on a 5 hour round trip for these!
Got them for a very good price so couldn't complain about travelling, just need a clean and to find some touran bases!

Nice additions so far, seats look nice and I agree it is worth a journey at a good price.
Look forward to seeing more as you go along.

Re: My First Caddy
This weekend I set about getting my interior fitted, spent yesterday cleaning the seats and armrest and left to dry in the sun!
Today was install day!
Set about stripping the original seats and console!
Got the Touran console and seat bases lined up and fixed into place!
Followed by the seats themselves, my favourite mod so far!
