Mindak, I have 2 questions for you.
First, how is the forever black holding out on your handbrake?
Secondly, did you get the gear knob and gaiter from eBay? If so is it OEM? If not, what’s the quality like?
Cheers mate

Hi bud, it’s holding up pretty well actually, tempted to give it another coat soon when it warms up a bit!
And yes i got it off eBay.. came from Germany so pretty good quality, wouldn’t know I fitted it!

Nice one mate, I’ve ordered one with red stitching, got a handbrake cover too, that is nice leather. Looking forward to getting them fitted.
Smart looking van too mate

Not much exciting happening lately just been using it as a van! Lol

But I have just picked up another set of wheels dirt cheap, had a set on my A3 but unfortunately had to leave them on there when I sold it!

Another set of Audi Fat Fives!

Will hopefully get a test fit later as bit worried about the 235/40 tyres! Haha

Finally got them on last night, don’t rub even with 235/40s

Will need a refurb to make mint but will do for now!

Not sure if I prefer these or the rotors atm so will give them time to grow on me! Haha

Nothing too exciting been happening lately apart from a few small changes!

First was to fit a bonnet insulation I got free off a guy I know

Finally got round to ripping the rubber floor out and fitting touran front carpets, while I was at it I fitted my £7 alloy pedals! Image

And I recently got my hands on an 18” space saver to replace the rusty 15” spare, had it lying in the back so wanted to make something a bit tidier.
Mocked up this bracket at work and machined a nylon locking block to secure against the side of the van.

Quick blast and lick of paint

Finally it’s off the floor.
