Not too much changed lately apart from gathering up parts!

Got myself a set of near new BC coilovers for the front, gaz rear shocks, and gaz super low shackle kit all for a pretty good price just need to get it all fitted!

And I'm currently in the process of trying to dye my bumpers black until I find a touran bumper to replace! Lol

Is it the same setup as the Mk5 golf platform? Did the ones on my octavia and it was an absolute bugger, resolved by making a strut spreader twice the size of the vw one out of an old bolt

Today I cut up my bulkhead to improve visibility out the back!

Image

Then I transferred my bulkhead covers to the inside for a cleaner look!
Can see much better in the mirror now!

Hopefully I bigger update to come tomorrow!

It didn't! lol was coming off by the next morning apparently the caddy bumper isn't compatible as can't absorb the dye, tried it on the handbrake last night though and looks good at the moment!

If they are mk5 golf coilovers then it's going to drop low... Good progress so far, like what you a are doing

My First Caddy

Post by Mindak »

So after a really long day in the workshop yesterday I'm finally lowered!

Was fully down on the front with the BC's with no issues but rears we're catching the rear arch liners I'm putting this down to the big tyres, and for some reason the spare wheel bracket was catching the beam so removed for now!
Also trimmed the exhaust heat shield near the beam!

Seems good so far and the quality of the kit is good, couldn't rate the BC's enough!
Just need wheels then I can set the height properly!

Also my handbrake handle is holding up well!

More goodies to fit!
Got a bargain on a touran front bumper this week so dropped it off at the bodyshop yesterday along with the spoiler and side rail cover!
Seems like it's ready for collection already!

Hopefully be able to get them fitted this weekend if the weather holds out!

Today I set about fitting the spoiler! What a ball ache!
Wouldn't wanna do another or if I did I'd probably bond it!
I think it looks good though!

Looking very good
How did you attatch the spoiler, since you didn't bond it ?

The genuine vw ones are bolted so had to drill through top of the doors!
