Re: My First Caddy
Man, i love the seats!!
How do you experience the change? I feel that in the standard seats i sit to high, and the top of the back (from under the shoulderblades) feels like it's "tilted" more back, so i end up strutting my t*ts

If my writing/grammar is poor, it's beacause I'm a Norwegian

I found the original seats the same, these seats make me feel like I'm sat in the van rather than on it! lol nice and snug!Kristofferen wrote:Man, i love the seats!!

Re: My First Caddy
Managed to get my rail cover on today, made up a little bracket for securing it on the inside and couldn't be bothered to drive 20 miles for a 95p rear clip so modified the original! Lol
Just the bumper left to fit for now!

Re: My First Caddy
Today I fitted the Touran front bumper!
Not 100% happy with the fitment so may have to have another bash when I get time but looks so much better than the grey crap!

Re: My First Caddy
Small update.. finally found a set of wheels!
Rotiform TMB 19x8.5 et45
Quick test fit to make sure all is ok, glad to see the sliding door works!
Just need 2 tyres and spigot rings before I adjust the height a bit!

Re: My First Caddy
Did you use the 2mm or 4mm Silent Coat? I want to use the same stuff on my Panel Van... Also, did you consider doing the footwells behind the two front seats? The noise of a full tank of fuel sloshing around is annoying the hell out of me, hoping it helps to dampen that noise too.....Mindak wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2017 11:02 am Bit more done this week..
Ordered myself a bulk pack of silent coat then went to town on the rear!
And got myself a pair of bulkhead covers from Tommyzoom, fair play to him for sorting these for everyone they are good quality!
Should hopefully be able to hear myself think now! lol

Hi bud, I went for the 2mm seems plenty good enough!owencardew wrote: Did you use the 2mm or 4mm Silent Coat? I want to use the same stuff on my Panel Van... I'm yet to do the front but will in the future as now the rear is quiet the front seems loud! Haha

Re: My First Caddy
Got the van sitting nicely now and happy with the outcome for now!
Also got a good deal on a Kenwood under seat sub so wasted now time getting it plumbed in, not too much base but enough to help out the standard speakers.
Just ordered some ply lining so next on my list along with some carpet!
