Post by jev113 »

So got my first caddy back in November 2016, first thing was to colour code bumpers, door handles, moldings and mirrors. ImageImageImageImage

Neat and clean look, like it a lot!

Have to ask about the seats: were they a straight fit or was modification needed? Are they on the Caddy base and how's the height compared to the original seat? I'm looking for seats for mine, leaning toward Tiguan's for the flat fold passenger seat.

Cheers mate.
The a1 seat are easy just a straight fit on the caddy Base. I have noticed a hight different they mite be abit lower but if there is then not alot in it.

Nice van you've got there mate. Looks great inside and out how do you find the road noise when your driving it after all the sound deadening?

What is the centre console you've got off? I've a nice set of Custom Recaro Half Nappa leather Half alecantra front seats from mk 4 golf platform wondering what I will need for them to fit into the caddy.

Cheers. I think the road noise is a lot quieter than it was without sounddeadener. Centre console is off a vw touran. Tbf not sure how to fit them seats mate seats I've got are out of a Audi a1 and they just fit straight in on the caddy bases

Maybe I'm better off going for something that will be a direct fitment. I'll have to look into it. My caddy is very similar to yours bar the roof of mine is painted metallic black. Really freshens them up color coding the bumpers ect. Whats your plans with it or are you happy for the time being?

I bet it did! What did you to give the coloured board effect if you don't mind me asking?
