Just found out I have a suspected waterpump leak. It's only 15 months old!
Getting new parts thanks to 'The Garage' in Sheffield where my pump and cambelt were originally replaced. Outside of warranty, but called them up to see what they could do if anything. Called me back and said they would supply new parts and send them down to my local Garage in Wimbledon. Top lads!
Screwed up my plans a little bit though as I was going to head to the Lakes today, but better to have a working Caddy than no Caddy at all!
So the pump was fooked. Bearings inside the pump were knackered apparently. Still, cost me £360 in labour alone as I managed to be supplied parts for free. Anyone know of any garages that are cheaper than £90/hour outside but near London?
On a different note, just upgraded my speakers to Blam 165 RS with separate door and tweeter speakers. Never had tweeters before. The quality of the sound has just gone through the roof! So happy with them! And they didn't break the bank at £130 all in including postage. Will make the road trips so much nicer now!
